There is yet to be a firm favourite to in the Tshwane Open this year, and that is proving to be troublesome for many a punter, as with so many golfers taking part in this golf tournament, which has a purse of €1,008,750, they are faced with picking out a range of different golfers but will be rewarded with some decent odds if they do manage to pick the outright winner.
If you have never heard of this European Tour, it is actually being held at the Pretoria Country Club course which can be a fairly challenging one at the best of times.
As such if you are prepared to have a bet on it then below I will give you a quick insight into the golfers that are attracting a small amount of cash and also let you know if there are any potential outsiders that could win it.
One thing to be aware of as usual, is that many betting sites are going to be giving you the option of placing an each way bet on the Tshwane Open and will pay up to six place places and will give you one fifth of the win odds on that part of an each way bet.
So to be fair, due to the high odds currently available on the outright in markets on this golf tournament, if you do feel that one player is worth betting on then you should go about placing that bet soon rather than later, to take advantage of the odds I am about to reveal to you!
George Coetzee in with a Chance of Winning
There could be some value in regards to betting on George Coetzee to win this golf tournament, for when you compare his current form to all others then he does stand out, and if you re prepared to lay a little bit of cash on him you will benefit from odds currently off 10/1.
However, look at Alexander Bjork and his very recent form there is a chance he could just come out on top and there are plenty f punters who do give him a chance. So much so he is second favourite to win but as some high odds of 18/1.
The rest of the golfers that are fairly high up on the betting market include Julian Suri who does have a chance at 20/1, Richard Sterne is on offer at odds of 22/1 and also consider placing a bet on Marcus Kinhult who could defy his current odds of25/1 and win.
A few of other golfers who are taking part in this tournament hat have more than a reasonable chance of winning or at least getting placed in it include Shaun Norris at 28/1 and Haydn Porteous who is also on offer and generally available at many betting sites at odds of28/1 as too is Erik Van Rooyen 28/1
Looking for Additional Each Way Value?
It should be a good and very interesting festive of golf at this year’s Tshwane Open, for with no red hot favourite in any of the betting markets I have checked out, and I have certainly checked out plenty of betting markets this morning, any of those golfers taking part are in with a chance even those on offer at huge odds.
For refer it is Petr Dedek who sadly appears to be simply making the numbers up on this golf tournament and have very little chance of either winning or getting placed, for his current odds are huge at some 1000/1!
Three golfers that all have odds on offer to in this event of 100/1 are Francesco Molinari, Patton Kizzire and Charl Schwartzel, and with many betting sites and bookmakers going six places and paying a fifth of the win odds on their each way place bets, then there is certainly some value to be had if you do fancy the chances of any of those three.
I am aware many punters may be looking at some of the golfers to bet on that have mid-ranged odds associated with them and with that in mind a few final golfers that may be worth betting on at odds of 60/1 to include Gary Woodland, Matt Kuchar, Branden Grace, Brendan Steele, Chez Reavie and Brian Harman.
Whether you bet on this event or simply watch it, then I do think it is going to be an interesting golf tournament and one that any of the entrants could possibly win too!
