The clock if finally counting down on its last countdown to this year’s German Darts Masters, and if you do want to have a bet on any of the many players taking part in that darts tournament, then you need to do so well in advance of the first match starting.
If you leave it for too long and bet once the first few matches are in paly and then their results are known you will find the odds available on the players that do start to play well are going to be much lower than they currently are on the early betting markets.
It is this Friday on the 25th of May 2018 that the German Darts Masters will begin and as you would expect there is going to be a huge crowd of fans watching this entire tournament, and you will find no shortages of betting sites that will be offering you odds on each of the darts players too.
However, you may be wondering where the smart money is going well there are a couple of players that are in with an excellent chance of winning, the first of whom is Michael van Gerwen who all betting sites have him chalked up on their betting markets at odds of 4/6
However, there is something of a large gulf regarding his odds and those of the second favourite, and that player is Rob Cross who, if you are quick, you should have no difficulties being able to place bets on him and be rewarded with some decent odds of 9/2!
German Darts Masters Each Way Betting
You will get 1/3 the win odds if you place an each-way bet and your place part of the bet wins if your chosen dart player finishes in first or second place in the German Darts Masters, and with the favourite being short odds-on then you may be quite temped to have an each-way bet to get some form of betting value!
If that is the case, then I will now give you an insight into the odds that you will find each of the next few fancied players, but as is always the case with early betting markets and ante post betting markets, you do need to place your bets before the tournaments begins as that is when the odds will switch from fixed odds over to live and in-play odds.
Gary Anderson is the next player in the betting market that could have a very good and realistic chance of winning the German Darts Masters tournament, and if he is someone you admire, and you do fancy placing either an easy-way or outright win bet on then the current and readily available odds you can get on him are 5/1.
Peter Wright always rolls up to these major darts tournaments with an army of fans, however whether you think he is going to win this tournament or not he does seem to be an ever so slightly out of form darts player but having said that is win odds are currently 8/1!
A Few Other Possible Betting Opportunities
It does look like you are going to have to pick one player to play against the favourite in the final for there is no getting away from the fact the likely winner of this darts event is Michael van Gerwen, but if you can manage to pick his opponent in the final then anything could happening that final, including his opponent winning!
With that in mind let me now give you an overview of the odds on some other players who could just spring a surprise and win the German Darts Master this years in 2018. The first is Raymond van Barneveld and there is a lot to like about his confidence and playing style, and I you do fancy his chances then act now for you can get odds of 16/1 on him winning if you are quick.
Mensur Suljovic is another darts player who when he is playing right up to his very best form does always have an outstanding chance of winning these events, and with his odds being 20/1 there is some each-way betting value to be had by betting on him.
The last few darts players in this event are available at odds of at least 100/1 with the exception of Jamie Lewis who odds are high at 80/1, but his chances of winning, lets be honest about it, are slim!
