Players Championship PGA Tour

There are of course some PGA Tours that from a betting point of view are easier to predict the outcome of than others, however this year’s Players championship PGA tour is very tricky from a betting point of view.

In fact, so much so that bookmakers and betting sites along with the plethora of sportsbooks that are offering betting markets on it are having a very hard time decision which player should be chalked up as the favourite.

It would appear however that most betting related odds compilers have chosen both Justin Thomas and Jason Day are going to be the most likely winners of this major golf tournament, and most betting sites have them installed at odds of 14/1 to win!

There are however three other players that are currently joint second favourites to win this event and those players are Jordan Spieth, Dustin Johnson and of course Rory McIlroy, and it is very true to say the odds on each of those three golfers do look very appealing as you can currently get odds of 16/1 on each of them!

It is going to be anybody’s guess however who will end up winning this golf tournament, and if you are still struggling for a golfer to place a bet on then there is a fair amount of money also being bet on Rickie Fowler who can be had at around the 18/1 mark and Henrik Stenson at odds of 22/1too.

7 Places and One Fifth the Odds Each-Way

For those of you who want to reduce the risks associated with betting on the Players Championship then you should find one of the many betting sites, sportsbooks and bookmakers that are offering one fifth the odds on any of the top seven finishers on their each-way betting opportunities.

By doing so you are still going to get some generous odds, even if your chosen golfer finishes in one of the top seven positions on the place section of such a bet. The first golfer that may be worth placing such an each-way bet on is the 50/a shot that being Francesco Molinari.

Another golfer who I am sure is going to be playing up to his best form, but one that I do feel has escaped the notice of the odds compilers is Tommy Fleetwood and I for one will be having an each-way bet on him this year and the best odds I have so far come across are 55/1.

A handful of the other golfers taking part in this tournament who have just as good a chance as any other of at the very least getting placed include Ian Poulter at 60/1 and Kevin Kisner at 66/1, but also never underestimate the possibilities of golfers such as Louis Oosthuizen at 70/1 getting placed of for something of a speculative punt also include Adam Scott who is available at odds currently of 90/1 in your list of possible bets to place!

Complete Outsiders to Win

You can of course bet on any of the golfers taking part in the Players Championship PGA Tour, and it may just pay dividends for you to consider picking one of the golfers that are lower down on the betting markets, for there are plenty of them that have huge odds associated with them at this early stage.

Therefore, let me give you the names and the odds of a few golfers that may just be worth having a speculative punt on this year. The first is Brandt Snedeker and his odds certainly do look appealing as he is currently available at most betting sites at odds of a huge 100/1!

How do you feel about betting on a golfer that is on offer at odds of a huge 200/1, well if that does tickle your fancy then make sure you place a bet on Ben Martin sooner rather than later as those are the odds you will be able to snap up on him, and he may just win or at the very least get placed!

Look at what odds you can also get on Anirban Lahiri for when I last checked his odds were a huge 300/1, and a couple of other golfers to consider betting on in the Players Championship if you want to place a bet on this golf tournament at huge odds are Brandon Harkins at 400/1 or even the rank outsider that currently being Scott McCarron at 750/1!
