If you are on the hunt for a few betting opportunities to place this Easter Sunday, then how about placing a bet on the Tour of Flanders cycling event, for there are a plethora of different betting opportunities available upon it.
If you have never come across that even before then be aware that the Tour of Flanders, which is also known as the De Ronde, is an annual road cycling race and in the Spring of each year it is held over in Belgium every spring.
You can bet on which rider you think is going to win the event outright, however one thing you are going to notice when looking at the betting markets is just how many riders are scheduled to take part in it.
Therefore, it may be a much better option for you to place an each-way bet on that cycling evet, for that way if your chosen rider wins you get paid out at the win odds and on the place aspect of that bet.
However, if you cyclist does not finish first but finishes in any of the top four positions in that race then you will receive the place part of your bet back as winnings, and for reference the majority of betting sites that I have come across this morning are offering a quarter of the win odds on the place part of an each-way bet!
Outright Winner Odds
If you do fancy placing a bet or two on the tour of Flanders, then allow me to pass onto you he current betting odds, obviously as always, it will pay dividends for you to compare the odds offered at a range of different betting sites for some betting sites are going to be offering different odds depending on the value of wagers placed on each rider.
However, as it stands the favourites to win this cycling event include Peter Sagan who is 3/1 and Greg Van Avermaet who is 4/1, but a few other riders in with a chance of winning are Philippe Gilbert at 6/1 and Tiesj Benoot at 9/1 and both Niki Terpstra and Sep Vanmarcke are on offer at odds of 10/1.
You will also find that Michal Kwiatkowski is 12/1, Zdenek Stybar is 16/1 and Oliver Naesen is 20/1 along with Alexander Kristoff who is also on offer at odds of 20/1, and if you do fancy placing an each-way bet it may be worth considering placing such bets on any of those riders.
You will find that you can place a bet and get odds of 25 to 1 on Vincenzno Nibali, Gianni Moscon, Jasper Stuyven and Matteo Trentin is 25/1, and Dylan Van Baarle, Yves Lampaert is 33/1 and Wout Van Aert are all on offer at odds of 33/1.
Outsider to Win the Tour of Flanders
Never underestimate the chances of one of the total outsiders to win this cycling event, for there could always be some surprises in store as to who will get up across the finishing line in first place!
With that in mind let me know give you some ideas of the current odds that are available on all the other riders that are scheduled to take place in this even, both Arnaud Demare and John Degenkolb are on offer at large odds of 40/1 and either of them could win this event with some luck in riding.
Sonny Colbrelli, Jurgen Roelandst, Edvald Boasson Hagen, Sacha Modolo and Fabio Felline are all on offer at most betting sites at odds of 50/1, and you will also be able to take odds of a larger 66 to 1on the following riders too, Edward Theuns, Luke Durbridge, Alexey Lutsenk, Michael Valgren and Ian Stannard.
If you are prepared to throw caution to the wind then a few additional riders that are available but at some much higher odds include Jens Keukeleire, Andre Greipel and also Tony Martin and if you do fancy the chances of any of them then their current odds are all 80/1 to win this event outright.
There are two other riders that all being well will line up and take part in the Tour of Flanders, and those two additional riders are Scott Thwaites and Tony Gallopin, however if you do checkout the betting markets on this event you will very quickly discover, if the bookmakers and bet makers are to be believed neither of them have any realistic chance of winning this event as they are both on offer at odds of 100/1!
