Valero Texas Open Betting

The PGA Valero Texas Open Tour is starting tomorrow, and as such there are, as there usually is, an abundance of betting opportunities on this golf tournament.

The course it is being held on is of course the AT&T Oaks Course, and as usual there is a huge valued prize purse on offer, which stands at an awe-inspiring $6,200,000.

The most commonly placed bet on the Valero Texas Open Tour is an outright winner bet and if that is something that you are interested in placing on your favourite golfer taking place in this tournament then please do read on for I will be revealing the current odds on several of the golfers who could win it below.

However, with there being such a large number of entrants in this year’s Valero Texas Open Tour, you should also consider placing an each-way bet too, for I have found a number of different online and mobile sportsbooks and betting sites that are offering one fifth of the odds to 6 places on such bets.

Whilst you will of course find the following odds available throughout the day do keep in mind that as soon as the tournament starts tomorrow the odds are going to change, and the betting markets will also switch over to the live in-play ones.

In fact, you may consider placing a bet before the event starts and then using those in-play betting markets to hedge any bets you have placed before it starts, as often that is a good way to lock in a guaranteed profit and a way many sports bettors do choose to bet too!

Most Likely Winners of the Valero Texas Open

There are quite a number of different golfers taking part in this golfing tournament that does have a very good chance of winning it, and with that in mind I will not take a look at some of the golfers who are heading the betting markets and have the greatest chance possible of winning it.

One golfer that is being bet in is Sergio Garcia, in fact so much money already been placed on him he is currently the favourite to win and his odds do reflect that as they are currently 14/1.

Another golfer that is certainly attracting a lot of attention on the betting markets is Charley Hoffman and if you fancy placing a bet on him, now is the time to do so for I cannot see his odds getting higher than the 18/1 odds that you will currently find available on him winning!

A few other golfers that are always going to be of interest to sports bettors and could win this event include Matt Kuchar who is available at odds of 18/1, Luke List who is 22/1 to win, Kevin Chappell may also be worth a punt at odds of  25/1 and you will also find that Ryan Moore does have a very good chance of winning this event and his odds are currently around the 28/1 mark.

Longshots and Outsiders to Win the Valero Texas Open

I will now be taking a look at some of the outsiders and longshots who if everything goes to plan and they do exceed their usual form may just be in with a chance of winning the Valero Texas Open, keep in mind though the following golfers listed odds do reflect their overall chances of winning of course!

One golfer that has caught my eye in the past and one that I do feel may scrape into a place position on this tournament and could possible win is Peter Uihlein and if that is something you have considered too then now is the time to place a bet on him as his current win odds are readily on offer as high as 80/1.

You may be thinking about placing a bet on a golfer whose win odds are in the three digits and if that is the case consider a small wager on Brice Garnett for it is not outside the realms of reality that he could win this tournament, and if he does and you place your bet right now you will get odds of 100/1 on him!

If however throwing caution o the win and placing a bet on the complete outsider to win this golf tournament is something that you are prepared and interested in doing, then you should consider placing a bet on Kris Blanks to win it, for his current odds are huge at some 1000/1!
